Vitamin C is a nutrient that most people are familiar with. But here is something you may not know. Deakin University has recently published a study showing that vitamin C helped lower blood pressure and helped control blood sugar spikes in diabetics. The added benefit of these results is also a reduction in cardiovascular disease risk. Win!
As little as 500mg twice per day gave these benefits. An inexpensive vitamin with big proven benefits.
Remember though, that many supplements can interact with medications so it always needs to be checked.
