Are the gut bugs actually important?

Reading the published research from many sources will make you realise how important.  I read these, so you don’t have to 😊 . 

These sources include Harvard, RMIT, La Trobe, BMJ, PubMed, Cell, Nature, Sciencedirect – just to name a few.

So what health conditions are linked to the health of your gut microbiota? 
Be prepared – this (not complete!) list may shock you.

Fibromyalgia, autism, mood-related disorders (including depression), rheumatoid arthritis, coeliac disease, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s, allergies (seasonal and food-related), diabetes (type 2 AND type 1), Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s, irritable bowel disease, anxiety, reflux, asthma, eczema, obesity  …. Do I really need to keep going?
